Customer Rating: Mr Letts, Fareham We enjoyed our break at the Windmill Village, the food in the restaurant was excellent with the staff helpful and friendly, but on arrival we were given no information on restaurant/breakfast times, location of restaurant/pool. when we asked we were told the restaurant served until 9.00 but on enquiring (different member of staff)again if a reservation was required 9.45 ! We consulted the information pack in our room to find out breakfast times it stated it was served until 10.00am, we arrived at 9.30 (Saturday)to be told by a restaurant staff member he would have to check if breakfast was still being served ! We pointed out It says 10.00 in information pack, he then replied ok and we took a seat. While we were getting our cooked food another member of staff tried to clear away our table I managed to explain we were stll using the table. On Sunday morning we were greeted and asked to find a table all tables were either occupied or needed clearing, we found one that was clear but with no cutlery or crockery etc we got ourselves some cereal and juice, then asked a member of staff for some cutlery etc explaining that we could not find a clear table she said it's always like this on Fridays ! ! ! I pointed out it was Sunday. During the time we were eating our breakfast most of the tables remained uncleared, we observed one male member of staff wander between the tables giving the appearance of being busy but stood in a group of uncleared tables yawning or looking at the tables, then returning empty handed to the kitchen !

Customer Rating: Mrs Rogers, Preston Definitely got value for money with the room and the dinner we had

Customer Rating: Mr Campion, ashby de la zouch Hotel Had weddings both Friday & Saturday but wedding guests circulated in the bar area resulting in no quiet area for hotel guests.
