Posted on April 03, 2014 by Admin

English tourism week is in full swing and we are happy to be giving our input. Travel and tourism is something we're passionate about, and great experiences are something we aim to provide.

There are some amazing places to see in England- our busy capital, the rolling Yorkshire moors, pretty much anywhere in the lake district- so we wanted to share with you our top hot spots.

Yorkshire:

This historic Northern County is home to various famous landmarks and beautiful landscapes. The largest county in the UK, Yorkshire is also known as one of the greenest areas in England due to the vast stretches of unspoiled countryside in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. Yorkshire's rich history includes a deep heritage of music, sport, cuisine, and architecture.

If you like the sound of this beautiful Northern County, you're in luck, we might just have the perfect offer for you. Save over 55% on a 2 night Yorkshire Escape at the Tulip Inn Hotel- includes full English breakfast on both mornings and wine with any evening meal purchased at the hotel.

Cotswolds:

Famed for its beautiful rolling hills, the Cotswolds is an area in south/central England. The Cotswolds are an area of outstanding beauty, and unique for its features derived from the local golden-coloured Cotswold stone. The rural landscape contains many areas of note, as well as beautiful stone-built villages, historical towns, and stately homes/gardens.

The Greenway Hotel and Spa is a 16th Century luxury Elizabethan manor house hotel on the outskirts of the Regency town of Cheltenham. The hotel, with its warm Cotswold stone exterior draped in ivy, is the picture of English country charm. Enjoy a Great Little Pamper Break at The Greenway Hotel, including 4* accommodation, a 3 course evening meal, and 60 minute spa treatment- save £256!

Lake District:

Also commonly known as the Lakes, the Lake District is mountainous area in Northern England. Known as a very popular tourist destination, the Lakes have a rich heritage in arts and literature. Many of its notable features include beautiful lakes, forests and mountains, Scafell Pike being the largest mountain in England. The Lakes are also home to the Lake District National park, England's largest National Park. The Lake District National Park is an area of stunning views and scenery, and attracts over 15 million visitors every year.

Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel is a hotel in Bowness on Windermere in Cumbria. Lindeth Howe overlooks Lake Windermere, the largest lake in the country and the Cumbrian fells beyond. This unique 4* country house hotel was also once owned by the best loved children's author Beatrix Potter. Enjoy a fantastic Lake District escape with afternoon tea on arrival, dinner, and overnight accommodation.
