There are plenty of things to do in the Cotswolds, and one great one for all the family is the Cotswold Falconry Centre. Just over 10 minutes drive from the Cotswold House and Spa, this famous attraction provides visitors with a great birds of prey experience.
The falconry centre is open daily from 10:30am, and gives visitors the opportunity to see birds of prey up close and soaring through the skies. Family tickets are available either online or on arrival. The falconry centre has grown to house over 150 birds of prey and thirty separate species that can be seen during the free flying demonstrations.
Another well known Cotswold attraction is the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Less than 30 minutes away from the hotel, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is home to, and owned by, the Royal Shakespeare Company. The Theatre is located in the town of Stratford Upon Avon- Shakespeare's birthplace and opened in 1932 on the site adjacent to the original Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, which was destroyed by fire on 6 March 1926. The RSC is one of the world's best known theatre companies.
If you are the kind of person who enjoys unique and fascinating experiences, then the Stratford Butterfly House might just be the attraction for you. Enjoy the unique pleasure of watching hundreds of the world's most spectacular and colorful butterflies flying all around. You can see them feeding and flying in a wonderful tropical environment.
The leafy and tropical environment is simulated inside large greenhouses host numerous free flying butterflies, a few free flying birds, a pool containing fish, and insects and spiders living in glass displays. The butterfly house is open daily from 10am.
