Customer Rating: Mr THOMAS, Stalybridge Rooms are ok but technology needs a update as does their website. Pool changing is tired and does not have a swimwear spindrier.

Customer Rating: Mr Cruickshank, Sheerness Negative notes - light was broken in the bathroom to the room and we had to wait 2 hours for our meal on the second day in the restaurant. Positive notes - spa and pool facilities were superb, all of the hotel staff minus the restaurant were polite and couldn?t be more helpful. The hotel and hounds were stunning and the food in the restaurant was delicious, and on the first night we stayed the service was fine, speedy and efficient. Summary - great hotel, great staff, I would give a 4 star review and it's just a shame the restaurant service let it down on day two.

Customer Rating: Mr Jones, Doncaster Generally this was a very good value enjoyable break in a very pleasant hotel which we have stayed in on several occasions. The staff apart from one exception were very pleasant and helpful. We did have a few issues - 1) bed sheets were marked and we asked for them to be changed - clearly the person taking this call noted our room number incorrectly and they were not replaced - when we went back to our room and discovered this and reported it to reception we were told we had told them the wrong room number (not correct) - no apology! After speaking to the reception staff an apology was issued and sheets replaced. 2) The 'free' bottle of wine was undrinkable - it was not a wine on the regular list -we needed to order alternative wine which we paid for. 3) The cheese board advertised as 'a trio of cheeses' was very generous but only had 2 selections of cheese - 2 portions of stilton. These issues did not spoil our stay at Eastside Hall we found the staff generally very pleasant and we would definitely use GLB to book stays there again - but they are issues we think you should be aware of.
