Customer Rating: Mrs MCCABE, Wirral

Customer Rating: Mr Martin, Marlborough The hotel was under-staffed on Saturday night, resulting in a very late finish for dinner. Our room was small: they had only one smaller room and I think that was a single. The curtains were not properly fitted, although I did partially remedy that. There was no bath plug and I had to go twice to reception to get one provided. By contrast, the setting is excellent, the buildings impressive and the food generally good.

Customer Rating: Mr Young, Wakefield Standard room bathroom needed upgrading. First impressions count and the door to room was heavily marked. Dining experience and staff... exceptional value. Situation and heritage of the hotel was charming. All inclusive deal meant just that with no hic-cups! We thoroughly enjoyed this visit.

Customer Rating: Mr Whitehead, Huddersfield Brilliant time, great staff and a thoroughly enjoyable time. Thank you

Customer Rating: Miss Gent, Leighton Buzzard The hotel is quirky it has lots of character.

Customer Rating: Mr Palmer, Malvern Was a lovely out hotel but we had a few problems because it was old. The radiators in our room didn't work they were quick to give us an electric radiator but unfortunately it did little to heat the room. Also the shower didn't produce hot water a fact we never mentioned until we left as we didn't want the hassel of moving rooms as we were only there for 2 nights. The good points were the food was amazing truly beautiful and the staff were all lovely and we'd definitely stay again, perhaps just a little more care in making sure all the items in their rooms work properly before putting guests in them.

Customer Rating: Mr Coleman, Ipswich

Customer Rating: Mr Cooke, Manchester Great hotel, even greater food, good service even though there was a shortage of staff at times, they worked very hard.
