Customer Rating: Mrs Cockerill, norwich

Customer Rating: Mrs Baker, Wigan The hotel lounge and bar is very dated. This is a 1970/80s building I think, and needs refurbishing, some of the rooms have been refurbished a few years ago, they are opposite the canal. The food was quite good in the restaurant, but we waited a long time to be served.

Customer Rating: Mr Dale, Lincoln All the staff were very friendly and helpful, great value for money!

Customer Rating: Mr Allan, Redcar Excellent meals, Friendly staff. Spa facilities very tired requiring redevelopment.

Customer Rating: Mr MITCHELL, Preston

Customer Rating: Mrs Dryden, Doncaster The dinner was excellent with delicious home made bread, it would have been nice to have bread at breakfast.

Customer Rating: Mrs Mansfield, Preston We were greeted by the reception with courtesy and we were upgraded. Good service in the restaurant - we don't use the bar as it's too expensive. A mix up with the bill on check out was sorted quickly and professionally. We enjoyed our stay very much and I'm sure will return.

Customer Rating: Mr Norcliffe, Huddersfield Excellent value for money. Friendly staff, excellent food, lovely conservatory/dining room by the canalside, very clean throughout and large bed and bedroom. The hotel is very 1970/1980s but in a charming and characterful way.

Customer Rating: Mr Slingsby, York we thought the price of a small glass of lemonade @ £1.90 was rather expensive.

Customer Rating: Mr stevenson, Stockton-on-tees Accommodation, food and service could not be faulted. Wish I could say the same of the weather!
