Customer Reviews
Overall Rating 4.28571428571429
based on 10 reviews.
Customer Rating: Mr Lynch, Andover The hotel is looking tired and in need of improvements and redecoration. However, we enjoyed our stay and considered it good value with the breakfast, evening meal and bottle of prosseco.

Customer Rating: Mr Roberts, Liverpool Whilst the room scored low due to its tiredness & no working shower it would not put me off. The staff, service & food quality were exceptional.

Customer Rating: Mr Green, Redditch

Customer Rating: Ms Collett, Bromsgrove After reading reviews I was a little concerned. Arriving via the side of the hotel it looked very shabby but around the front it looked better. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. At the restaurant there was plenty of choice for our meal. You would have to be extremely fussy not to find something you would like. We have been on lots of these dinner bed and breakfast breaks and this was definitely the nicest meal we have had. The bottle of prosecco was lovely and arrived at our table without us having to ask. We had a drink in the bar after our meal and sat outside in the garden which was pleasant. Bar prices were a little expensive but no more than usual hotel prices.. Our bed was comfortable and our room was not too hot. Breakfast the next morning was lovely with all the usual things you would expect from a buffet breakfast. The next day we went to Hawkstone Follies which is a 5 minute drive away. I would recommend this place it was beautiful and you get half price entrance when staying at the hotel. A lovely weekend break and would love to stay again.

Customer Rating: Mrs Smith, Swansea Food and drink at dinner was excellent.

Customer Rating: Mr Wiltshire, Salisbury The decor of the hotel was a little tired but it was ideal for us as we had dogs with us.

Customer Rating: Mr Lamb, Manchester The situation of the hotel is excellent and the nearby Follies are well-worth a visit. Although the superior room which we had been upgraded to was spacious with windows on two sides some aspects of it were rather tired. The evening meals were fine and the breakfast choice was good.

Customer Rating: Mr Lees, Liss Bar area would benefit from a little updating. Drinks very expensive. Outside patio could be lovely but very bland.

Customer Rating: Mr ANNABLE, SOUTHAMPTON Would recommend Hawkstone for a 'normal' customer or of course a golfer but not for someone who was particularly choosy about room facilities and decor or expecting near-gastronomic quality in the restaurant.

Customer Rating: Mr Cox, Southampton All of the staff were extremely welcoming, hardworking and professional. The food was outstanding and we asked the waiters to pass on our complements. Our room was a lovely size and the beds fresh. Sadly the hotel is extremely tired and run down and needs completely redecorating I would definitely change my rating and visit again and in addition recommend this hotel.
