Customer Rating: Mrs Simmonds, Halesowen Had a really enjoyable stay .Would certainly recommend the hotel to friends and family. Helpful , pleasant staff . Good food. Comfortable room and lovely grounds.

Customer Rating: Mr Adams, Milton Keynes We waited half an hour to get our bottle of wine in the restaurant. The staff seemed very disorganised, apparently overwhelmed with the amount of people but the restaurant wasn't that busy! Food was very good when it did arrive so no complaints there.

Customer Rating: Mr Bulmer, Gainsborough We found the service in the restaurant rather slow and was waiting about 30 mins for our desert. The spa was very nice although the pool is quite small.

Customer Rating: Mrs Walsh, Reading Great staff - couldn't do enough for us !!!!!

Customer Rating: Mrs Mottram, Hove The spa was particularly good. It is new to the hotel and has a lovely fresh feel to it, the staff (particularly Geraldine and Laurel) were very good. Geraldine was especially good as she correctly advised against the treatment I had selected for my type of skin and offered advice and a wonderful alternative.

Customer Rating: Mr ANGUS, Northwich

Customer Rating: Mr Page, Willenhall The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel had some excellent facilities. However there is one area that lets the hotel down and that is the restaurant. That's why I have only given it 3 out of 5 We had a meal there Saturday night which was very poor. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned properly. waited ages to order food. The waiter plonked our bottle of wine down on the table and left us to serve ourselves We had to ask for bread and unbelievably Salt and Pepper. for desserts had to ask for some cutlery! If I had been paying full price I would have complained directly to the hotel. It was a shame because if it had been any good we may have eaten there Sunday as well. However despite the above criticism we would return to this hotel if in the area albeit on a b&b basis. We thought the break was good value for money and made use of the Chatsworth tickets on the way home, which made for a very pleasant afternoon. We will definitely use Great Little Breaks again. .

Customer Rating: Mrs Dainty, Newbury

Customer Rating: Mr Barnes, Woodley Service at Dinner on the first night was poor and not organised. There was few people dining in the restaurant and we went down at 20:00. Basics like bringing the food (soup), then going to look for cutlery - should have been brought when we ordered the soup, asking if we want the desert menu then going off to chat to colleague and clear tables. Relaying tables for breakfast around us. Breakfast staff on both mornings were a lot better.

Customer Rating: Mrs Beach, Shrewsbury Staff friendly, food great, a very relaxing break
