We wanted to share with you the results of the survey that we asked our customers to complete in April 2020 during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown.

We also received lovely feedback (not just from the survey) and have published some of the comments (with permission) below.

When will you travel again?

We were interested to find out whether our customers would be keen to take a short break in the UK and if so, when they thought they might feel comfortable travelling again?

Question: When will you consider taking a short break after the Covid-19 lockdown has been lifted?

Answers:

Immediately - 17%

1-3 months - 44%

3-6 months - 21%

6-12 months - 10%

Next year - 8%

Where would you like to go?

We only offer shorts break in England, Scotland and Wales currently but we wanted to know where you would like to holiday?

We added Northern Ireland as an option as we are looking at offering breaks in the future.

Other answers included: Jersey, Southern Ireland, Spain & Europe.

What type of holiday?

It was a close call between coast or country with Coastal Breaks just pipping Country Retreats to the post.

City breaks and attraction breaks (including stately homes and RHS gardens), although not as popular still took a large share of the votes.

Other choices included: All Inclusive, Spa breaks & Walking.

What's important for you?

As you can see Location seems to be most important to you with Value for money being the next most popular answer.

Although Cleanliness is third in the survey, rest assured we are checking that our hotels and partners are keeping this upmost in their minds to ensure the safety of customers whilst they are enjoying their short break.

Price will also be an important factor. We will always try to ensure that we get the best deal at the best price for you.


What will influence your choice of travel company?

You can be safe in the knowledge that there are no hidden fees with Great Little Breaks and we are a member of ABTA so your money will be protected.

Any reason why you wouldn't want to travel?

As we all can appreciate the situation we find ourselves in is unprecedented and obviously worrying. As this is the case it is no surprise that the main concern is the virus itself.

Question: Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to travel?
