Customer Rating: Mr Shah, Harrow

Customer Rating: Mrs Ostridge, Rochester Lovely staff very helpful, nice room, convenient position close to M40, great food in restaurant, good value for money on whole trip. Drinks a little expensive in bar but otherwise a great little break.

Customer Rating: Mr Goldstone, Grays Excellent value for money.

Customer Rating: Mr Webster, Ventnor A pillowslip on the second pillow would have been nice.. Both of us would have liked napkins, we had to ask for a second one.. Breakfast was bad, nothing topped up, so no fresh fruit salad for us., no orange juice, and the beans and scrambled egg looked too bad to eat. Judging by all the staff hanging around the dining room door, surely one of them could have sorted this out

Customer Rating: Mr Newling, Nottingham Hotel is fine for looking around South Oxfordshire - close to motorway, but in a rural location, rooms at the back are quiet. Majority of guests are business travellers, so a noisy bar and breakfast room - but provide some life to the place. Rooms are large, but overall hotel is lacking in character, no lounge with newspapers, small bar and restaurant. Our break included cream tea, which was just scones & jam - slight disappointment as the menu included some actual cream teams with sandwiches, in addition to the scones & jam option we received. Included dinner was good and breakfast was acceptable - though some disgusting orange juice on one morning. Nearest Oxford P&R site is a good 20 mins away, and Blenheim Place (which our break included tickets for) was 45 mins away. So provided you have plenty of plans to keep you busy during the days, the hotel is a fine base for exploring the area.

Customer Rating: Mr Fraser, Narberth The staff in the hotel were very pleasant and attentive.

Customer Rating: Mr Smith, Dagenham Hotel and staff excellent

Customer Rating: Mrs DICKIE, Whitehaven This hotel/motel was superb. The facilities were great and the bedroom we got, number 117 was a family sized room. It was ideal for us and our pet dog. The evening meal was excellent and the service was exceptional. We would highly recommend any one wishing to visit the area to stay here. We used it as a base to go to Oxford and to use the tickets to Blenheim Palace. We will look for this group's 'Mercure' hotels to stay at in the future.
