Customer Rating: Mr Lambert, Newtown Only complaint was the rooms were very warm. Otherwise can't fault for the money.

Customer Rating: Mr buckland, arksey doncaster Quality of evening meal could have been better and bar prices over the top.

Customer Rating: Mr Parslow, Mitcheldean Our weekend break was fantastic value for money in a lovely setting and is only a short journey from Tatton Park and within walking distance of Holmes Chapel.

Customer Rating: Mrs kennington, Belper We arrived very early for check in but as our room was ready it was no problem. However, we were disappointed with the position of our allocated room, as it looked out onto a wall. On requesting a room change again this was no problem and a new room with patio view was immediately arranged. We were very satisfied with this service.

Customer Rating: Mr Gowing, Halifax Great value break. Reason I did not award 5s, very limited menu and the towels in the bathroom smelled, I am not saying they were not clean but they didn't smell nice

Customer Rating: Miss Stackhouse, Denbigh The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would definitely use Great Little Breaks again, and would definitely stay in the De Vere chain of hotels again. It was a really great break!

Customer Rating: Miss Stackhouse, Denbigh My sister and I had a great 2 night break from Sunday 27 - Tuesday 29 May which included b&b, dinner on the first night and entrance to Tatton Park. All the staff we encountered; reception, bar staff, waiting staff, housekeeping and leisure facilities staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Many of them were quite young so it is a credit to the hotel that they were all so friendly, attentive and professional. They certainly embodied the word hospitality. We found our room spacious and clean, with everything you could want. We had read some negative reviews on Tripadvisor about the hotel but contrary to those reviewers' opinions we found our room (257) spacious and spotlessly clean, the beds comfy, no problems with sound from our neighbouring rooms or the corridors. Despite there being a wedding taking place. We booked for dinner and the waiting staff were attentive and helpful and the food was very tasty. Breakfast on both mornings was a smooth operation despite the first day being very busy. The choice of food (both hot and cold) was massive and should suit everyone's tastes and the quality was good too. Room service on the second evening was also a smooth operation and was delivered promptly. We used the pool on both days and it was a joy to relax in an almost empty pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi after a day at Tatton Park. The leisure staff were friendly, polite and helpful on both occasions. The changing rooms were clean and spacious and the swimsuit spin dryer was a brilliant addition. All in all we had a fabulous relaxing break that was fantastic value for money and we would highly recommend it. We will certainly return again and also consider other hotels in this chain.
