Customer Rating: Miss Karrington, Bridgwater The staff at the hotel weren't that bad, although I wouldn't return. We asked staff about other places to go for food and drinks and the places we did visit the people there were just so rude. I will not return to this place and I wouldn't recommend it.

Customer Rating: Mr Lumley, Bishop's Stortford This is a managed pub (not free house) and as such the menu and general layout is like so many other "chain" pubs. The pub now relies on sky sports (screens in every corner of the pub) to entertain it's customers which is a shame as it is a very nice old building. As is usual they have piped music playing till close which can be heard from most bedrooms, but to be fair if you stay above a pub you have to expect noise. Having said that it really didn't worry us and wasn't too intrusive.

Customer Rating: Ms Gratton, Coventry

Customer Rating: Mrs Wallace, Thatcham Took our dog with us, staff were lovely with him, very welcoming. Breakfast was really nice, lots of choices. Ordered food in the evening from the pub and it was really nice and very good value.

Customer Rating: Mr Sherbourne, Eastleigh The Hotel room was very comfy and warm and the staff were very helpful with showing us how our shower worked when we had a problem. The Buffet was delicious and had plenty of choices and was cooked fresh for each guest's order so was piping hot. We will certainly stay here again.

Customer Rating: Mr Fannon, Gravesend Service was good, welcome was excellent, prices reasonable
