Customer Rating: Mrs Lucas, Hitchin This was a wonderful break for my husband and I. Great hotel, good food, very clean, good service and very friendly staff. The trip to Highclere was fantastic well worth it and the books are great. Only disappointment was the Afternoon Tea it wasnt up to standard of the restaurant food or breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Customer Rating: Ms hardwick, Llangadog As above lovely short break, would certainly go again.

Customer Rating: Mrs leddy, Bedworth The staff in the restaurant were excellent and very polite. The only thing would be the gin/tonic to be served in a proper gin glass! Leisure facilities were excellent. Manager of hotel very friendly and a credit to this hotel.

Customer Rating: Mrs Davies, Lincolnshire Overall the hotel and package was very good however having booked in at 1.40 pm we was asked what time we would like our afternoon tea we said 2pm. We waited until 2.30pm and no afternoon tea arrived, I went back to reception and informed the girl she assured me that the booking had gone through after waiting another 10 minute my husband accosted a staff member about the lack of service we eventually received cream teas 50 minutes late which was not afternoon tea as paid for. We have been in touch since we got home and the hotel are going to refund £30 to great little breaks to forward on to us so we look forward to you contacting us.

Customer Rating: Mr NUTLEY, Lancing There was a few issues in the restaurant on the 2nd night, they took to long to bring out our food, other people had problems too apart from that it was a lovely stay

Customer Rating: Mr Smith, Wolverhampton We had a lovely room which was far better than we expected (Room 208) The food at the accommodation was generally good apart from the smoked salmon being 'off' at the afternoon tea. The restaurant at dinner was chaotic with lots of unhappy customers waiting a long time for their food. The hotel generally needed a refurbishment and was quite dated and dirty in parts but we felt the breaks was excellent value for money and we enjoyed the weekend away.
