Jersey enjoys a mild, maritime climate that's generally warmer and sunnier than most of the UK. Summers are pleasantly warm, with average highs around 18-22 degrees and plenty of sunshine - perfect for beaches and outdoor exploring.
Spring brings milder days from 10-16 degrees, waking up the island's coastal paths and countryside. Autumn stays comfortable with temperatures around 14-18 degrees while winter is cool with highs up to 10 degrees. Thanks to its southerly location and long daylight hours, Jersey often enjoys more sunshine than the other British Isles.

Important Travel Information for Jersey
ID and Travel Documents
All passengers must comply with ID, passport, visa, and health requirements. For our Jersey break, all travellers should carry recognised photographic identification. Drivers must also have a valid driving licence, proof of insurance with at least third-party cover, and confirmation from their insurer that they are covered to drive in Jersey. Passengers with invalid or inadequate documentation may be denied boarding.
Vehicle Information
Our price includes ferry travel for one car up to 1.8m high and 5m long. Travelling with a different vehicle type or more passengers may incur alternative pricing; please contact our team for guidance.
Ferry Sailing Times
Exact sailing times will be confirmed after booking. Sailings may depart within the following windows:
- Poole - Jersey: 6.30am - 1pm
- Jersey - Poole: 9am - 7pm
Check-in and Arrival
Check-in for vehicles closes 1 hour before departure. We recommend arriving at the port at least 1.5 hours before your sailing. Travel documents will be provided after booking.
Sailing Delays
Ferry sailings may be delayed due to weather. Vessels will never depart earlier than scheduled. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you to arrange alternative travel.
Accessibility
The ferry is fully accessible, with lifts, wheelchair access, and accessible parking close to lifts. Assistance dogs are welcome on board. Please inform us at the time of booking if you require assistance.
